An often used metaphor originating from “The Wizard of Oz” is to, “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”. Meaning, look where we tell you to look – lest the truth be discovered, and our power is lost.
Our Politicians have been using this technique on the American People for decades. And you see it working to this day. All this rapport about the “angry mobs”, “un-Americans” or any of the other ridicules distractions you see plastered all over the news today is designed to do one thing and one thing only. Provide cover for the fact that before the year is out, congress WILL pass a healthcare bill, whether you like it or not.
There is no debate going on at these town hall meetings. These congressmen (women) are not interested in a dialog or getting your feedback. They are stalling for time while the man (men) behind the curtain (Obama, Reid & Pelosi) put the deal together in the back room. Do you actually believe that during this recess that they are just sitting around reading their emails from their constituents? Do you really believe that they give a shit about you? If you do, you better grow up and get with the program.
Obama and every single member in Congress (House & Senate) know that if health care legislation does not pass by the end of this year – It will never pass. The Democrats know that their rule of congress is over. The people have had enough. While 30% of Democrats (the far left freaks) will always vote Democrat, even if it means the destruction of our nation, the rest are mostly moderate; or they are ‘old school’ Democrats who vote on principle, not party. The result is that by the end of the next election, the Democrats are out – and they know it.
Their goal, is to go down with the ship. They intend to push legislation through that is impossible (or extremely difficult) to undo. They know that attention wanes. And while they surely will fight and defend themselves during their re-election campaigns, they cannot risk going to all this effort for nothing. So they will use this opportunity to push this legislation through – for the benefit of the people, of course. After all, they know what’s good for us.
A conservative might wonder, “So, what are we to do if they intend to push this through anyway?” The answer is to use both a carrot and a stick on them.
Using the stick is fairly obvious.
We must keep up the protests. We must be loud, obnoxious and unruly. (Obviously, not violent) We must move swiftly where they least expect it, and often. Don’t worry about the accusations that will result. There will be many – from all sides. Remember that wars are not won through silent, polite discussion. Wars are won through knowledge, cunning and force. Using techniques of Sun Tzu we will keep them constantly on the move, doing battle at locations we have chosen. Our goal is not victory thru submission. Our goal is to gain knowledge and weaponry to be used in the next election.
How to use the Carrot.
The Carrot will be our promise of mercy should they comply with the demands of the American People. We make them believe that we will forgive them for their trespasses so long as they do the right thing. We promise not to put them on trial and then hang their ass when convicted. We promise that we will consider them for another term in office so long as they admit they have lost their way and now have found salvation. We explain to them that their base (the radical left) is willing to give a little so that they can gain further ground later.
Ultimately, I’m doubtful that the carrot or the stick will work. They are going to pass this legislation. Bet on it. Still, we must try. And we must remember as we go forth, to collect the tools we need for the upcoming battle. Remember to write down the names of those who vote for this legislation. Note their districts. Give your contributions to the opponents of these traitors. Discover which companies or which Hollywood elitists support them? Who was at those fundraisers with them? Where do they live? How can we upset their lives? Consider ways to cut off their funding. Prepare to protest their supporters. Knowledge will be our Weaponry.
These are not new tactics, folks. The leftists have been using these exact same tactics against us for years. We just sat by and passed it off because we are not the type to “sink to their level”. Well wake up people! That philosophy has gotten us into this mess. Damn the passive resistance crap. If we had fought these liberal freaks in the beginning, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are today. It terms of how we do battle with these leftists, we don’t need to reinvent the wheel. We just need to do to them what they have been doing to us – only we must give it back to them three fold.
The man behind the curtain has been exposed, and he no longer has power over us.
These town hall meetings are fascinating. The constituents know more about the bills than the representatives!

The people are reasserting control over the Legislative Branch. About time, too. The politicians seem to have no idea what’s happening. They thought they were going to Washington to rule us, not represent us.
