How to Protect Electronics from an Electromagnetic Pulse – EMP

EMP Shielding
The Threat from an ElectroMagnetic Pulse is real.
So is a Coronal Mass Ejection. In 2010, NASA monitored 6 of them. Fortunately, none of them hit the Earth. If they had – you would not be reading this blog.

Evil nations such as Iran or North Korea don’t need a large stockpiles of Nuclear weapons to cause severe damage to the United States. In fact, a single nuclear weapon, detonated from a high altitude over the midwest, would be enough to push the United States back into the pre-industrial era of the 1800′s.

The reason is the ElectroMagnetic Pulse that is generated. It doesn’t matter how it happens. It could be with the device installed in an Airplane; Launched from a rocket in Canada, Mexico or the Gulf Coast. The result would be the same – complete distruction of every electronic device within 1000 miles.

If that is not scarry enough, the same thing could (and does) happen about every 1000 years or so from natural causes – the SUN. Not to add to the hysteria for 2012, but it is a known fact that the Sun will be reaching its peak output at about that same time. NASA has already monitored 4

But there is a way to protect some of your vital electronics from the effects of an EMP. A Faraday Box, a simple box lined with metal will protect its contents (if constructed properly).

I urge all my readers to either build or buy one of these EMP Boxes. It might just save your life.
